This pump features an auto on/off that starts pumping as soon as 1 3/4" of water has collected and shuts off once the water level reaches 3/8". This is far better than the industry standard where most pumps turn-off while an inch and a half of water is still present.

The 1/4 horse power motor allows for 3000 gallons to be pumped per hour through a standard garden hose. This high-flow motor pumps water faster. While most pumps max out at 1200-1500 gallons per hour, this pump easily handles 3000 gallons per hour.
